Saint Bernard Club of America National Specialty

Every year members of the Saint Bernard Club of America gather together to exhibit the best Saint Bernards in the country. Typically, more than 200 dogs compete for awards in 20 conformation classes. To win one of the classes is considered an achievement among competitors. To win Winners Dog, Winners Bitch, or Best of Winners is an honor bestowed upon only the very best dogs in the show. To win Best of Opposite Sex puts your dog among the top Saint Bernards in the country. And winning Best In Show is the ultimate goal of every serious breeder of Saint Bernards.

Saint Bernards bred and owned by Opdyke Kennel have been selected as Best in Show eight times since 1974. In addition, our dogs have garnered four Best of Opposite Sex, three Best of Winners, and six Winners Dog or Winners Bitch titles. We believe this unmatched winning record is a clear indication of our commitment to breeding the finest Saint Bernards possible.
